can i cover purple over light pink in my butterfly tattoo ?

i have a buttrfly tattoo and the wings are all pink i would like them to be made part purple can this be done?

red ink is the most difficult thing to cover up, so- as long as you don’t have any red or vibrant blue… you should be straight.
