right below you stomach on the side on your hip. Its sexy!!
First tatoo I’m assuming so I would say lower back but off to one side would look really good. Plus it would be easy to hide if you decide you don’t want your tattoo showing. It would also get you used to the idea of having art on you body permenantlly so if you decide you like it you can always get more tattoos in more visable places.

Wow could you be any more original? I would re think the butterfly…thats one of the top tattoos every girl gets! It is very annoying to sit in a shop all day and have at least five butterfly tattoos to draw. But it is your choice, Depending on size…Small butterfly, wrist, behind ear, neck, stomach. Big butterfly, shoulder, ankle, chest, back.
Nowhere. Butterfly tattoos are cliche, overdone, and often really trashy. Especially when done as a tramp stamp.
do you really want a butterfly? Does it have significant meaning to you? If not find something more creative.
Try your lower back or your hip bone.

It depends. If you plan on having kids stay away from your hip or lower abdomen. It will end up looking like a butterfly that hit a windshield. I have a tribal sun on my hip that looks like a black blah since I had my daughter. My back has been my favorite area for ink. I have a sun on my ankle that was covering a scar and now if I want to wear a dress(yuck,but just in case I do at work) I have to find all sorts of ways to hide it. So put some serious thought into placement, but put is where ever YOU want it as long as your happy with it is all that matters. My butterfly sits on my lower back, I think she’s happy there.
Back, Ankle, hip or shoulder always works for a first Tattoo. It is really a personal choice. as is with the design I do agree that Roses, Hearts & butterflys are way over done !!
This being said I do Have a Dragonfly on my lower back ( or Tramp Stamp if you must ) and wise ass people always comment on there is another Butterfly Tattoo. So be prepared……
